Also, her space is immaculate and there is never any double-dipping...clean, clean, clean! Oddly enough, this is very hard to find in L.A. Get Waxed is the BEST EVER. I had only dared to bikini wax twice before and both had been excrutiation and humiliating experiences. I was not quick to try again. But GET WAXED won me over!!! Right near my house and clean and lovely. Owner Elisha was so nice, always saying hello when I walked my kids and dogs by her spa. I was enticed by the ORGANIC nature of her business, as I am totally obsessed with eating and living all organic and using paraben and chemical free products in line with the EU standards or higher. WHAT a GIFT to have this lovely place open near me. So, before my cruise to Mexico, I let her talk me into a treatment...promising that some clients have even "fallen asleep during treatment" they were so relaxed. THIS IS TRUE FOLKS! what a fantastic experience I had. virtually pain free. totally organic. almost soothing!!! really. a SPA-like bikini wax. it was lovely and I support Elisha and her business 100%! super fantastic and will go back again. it has made a waxer out of me! it's not fair that us organic girls have to be hairy! now we can be lovely and hairless and pampered too! and most of all....taken CARE OF with tenderness and cleanliness! yea GET WAXED!

Elisha is a professional. She is very passionate and cares about your skin. I've had some really horrible waxing experiences in the 11 years I've been waxing, but not at Get Waxed. Her waxing technique results in less irritation and soreness, less or no ingrowns, and a longer-staying wax! The prices are about the same or less than others, but all they do is wax, so they're experts!

The products she makes are amazing too. Finally, I have access to quality, good-smelling products with ingredient labels that I can understand. Her scrubby cleanser Cake makes my skin glowy, it's amazing.

The environment of the shop is intimate, relaxing, and cute...Elisha and her staff are very nice and professional. I drive 40 minutes from Long Beach to Get Waxed every month, and I couldn't be happier to do it. It's the best waxing I've ever had!

Previously, I had received and saved an earlier review about a very affordable,new hair removal salon opening just west of hip, eclectic Abbot Kinney Bl. in Venice. The salon's name is get Waxed. Therefore, I decided to check it out for myself. I phoned the salon to schedule my first appointment with the owner, Elisha Reverby. Of course, I was nervous going to my first appointment. My past experiences with having hair removed from my body was nothing to brag or comment about due to painful stinging, soreness and redness. However, my first appointment with Elisha made awful past experiences at other salons disappear. Elisha is completely professional and promised me an ouch less experience. She did not let me down. Her quality of expertise and above average services provided to customers is priceless. Great customer service! Also, I am still amazed when leaving her salon that I do not have tenderness, soreness or redness after receiving hair removal. In fact, my husband noticed the difference as well. He complimented me on fresh and healthy skin appearance. I reminded him that I had been to Get Waxed. He was shocked and pleased with the results, too. My previous experiences at Get Waxed have encouraged me to schedule future appointments by booking them months in advance.

I have been to several places in LA, trying to find a great waxer, and now I think I have. Seriously, Elisha was really nice and it was pretty painless - I may even dare to get the Brazilian sometime- maybe. Anyway, I thought I would mention that this business is little more than a cute and quaint room, which threw me off a little when I got there, since I had expected a larger business. But, Elisha was cleaning cleaning cleaning when I arrived about 20 minutes early, which really made me feel good about the place. The atmosphere was calm and serene, and you are guaranteed privacy, since the door gets locked while you are getting waxed :)

You know when you put off getting waxed for like a week, and then a couple of weeks and then (oh God this is going to hurt SO bad!!) it turns all the way into a month and you DREAD it so, so much? That's what happened to me last month and I was honestly so super freaked out-- THEN I found Get Waxed and got an appointment the very next day. The owner was super sweet on the phone and Jennifer who gave me the wax was funny, easy-going, thoughtful and totally THOROUGH if you know what I mean-- like, I left feeling like the hottest chick on the planet. I was timid about getting my eyebrows waxed, as I've seen the thousands of girls that wax their brows so thin they are nonexistent.
I have full brows, and I went to Elisha three years ago and asked her to shape them, but to keep them full. She did just that and I have been seeing her ever since. There are waxing studios on every block where I live in Valley that I could go to, but its worth the trip to Venice to Get Waxed.

I've followed this fab esthetician from her last gig to her new amazing venture in Venice. I never waxed often before discovering the painless, flawless waxing available at Get Waxed Venice. Also I've gotten lash tints all over the world and she is the first one to not leave my eyes a stinging, stained mess. I would say her work is worth every penny except her menu is actually really reasonably priced on top of the great service. So...I guess I'm saying - it's great.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Abbot Kinney is a gem of a waxing studio. When it comes to getting waxed in the nether regions, I have a very low pain threshold. Elisha was SO quick that I barely has time to realize it was done, much less feel much discomfort! Also finicky about where I go- I felt very relaxed in her environmentally conscious and super CLEAN space. Her self made products are also wonderful. (I love her "Whipped" lotion) Whether it be your bikini line or the environment- Elisha is keeping it clean . AND, big bonus, she has very reasonable prices. Definitely check her out!

This is my friend's new salon! Her name is Elisha and she will pamper you with the finest organic ingredients! She has a skincare line called Skin Food which is amazing! Try her lotion called Whipped and you'll want to spend the day slathering it all over. I mean it. For you Greenies out there, Elisha has furnished her shop with environmentally-friendly products, including low VOC paints. Elisha is an amazing philanthropist and never hesitates to give when she can. She will soon be introducing her own home-ade wax!

I thought I was happy with my FORMER waxer until...hmmm...let me count the ways...NOT! O.K., so I thought a Brazilian was supposed to be painful -- doesn't everyone take a Rx strength pain-killer beforehand? I thought it was normal that the wax was boiling hot and that I was getting vaginitis or yeast after almost every wax appointment. Could it have been the double-dipping? Very romantic, huh? Was I an idiot or just an amateur??? Not anymore! Thank goodness I finally found Elisha at GET WAXED! Wow, what a concept, no double-dipping. I guess Mom's buffet table etiquette also works in the strangest of places! Anyway, I've had 2 appointments so far and while she's almost double the price of my previous salon, I'm saving $ on the yeast medication and living pain-free! Elisha is definitely worth the visit, plus, she's a cool person to chat with about pets and hot dates!

I highly recommend Get Waxed. I've been getting waxed for ten years and I can't say I've enjoyed a single second of it. However, after firing my usual waxer and heading over to Get Waxed, the experience was so easy (dare I say pleasant?) that I felt compelled to write a review and rave about Elisha.
