Get Waxed is a boutique salon located just steps west of Abbot Kinney Boulevard, on Westminster Avenue, in the heart of Venice.

At Get Waxed we NEVER double dip. For those of you that don't know, to double-dip is to put a just used wax stick right back into the wax pot. Keep in mind that this stick was just on your skin and private parts and everyone elses as well. This is hardly a sanitary practice and the often touted "the heat of the wax kills the bacteria" is easily refutable. We choose to not risk our client's health with "maybe not bacteria" and certainly pubic hair, dead skin and other people's "stuff". Do you really want this on your body?

Apart from using low voc paints, energy efficient lighting and recycled paper for our marketing materials we also clean our store with a non-hazardous citrus oil cleanser, our toiletry products are Seventh Generation and all plastic, glass and paper in our salon is recycled.

Get Waxed only uses and retails products for the body and home that are free of harsh, unhealthy and environmentally toxic ingredients.

Our signature treatments always include a quick cleanse with a vegetable based diluted soap solution and to ensure a top-notch wax we then dust the skin with our homemade cornstarch and tea tree powder and we finish with cold, certified organic aloe vera and essential water compresses, homemade certified organic lavender body oil and the very skin friendly zinc oxide. To put it simply, your skin is loved and pampered at Get Waxed.

We work with an organic honey and plant resin wax and in the future our goal is to create, perfect and use a hand-made sugar wax in every service. At Get Waxed we believe simple luxury is to be shared with everyone. Don't you agree?

Technique is key. Our esthetic staff has years of experience and they are then trained on Get Waxed signature "details" and "musts" to ensure consistency and four-star quality within every treatment.

We are proud to retail Elique Organic Skin Food, owner Elisha Reverby's pride and joy. For 15 years she has researched, formulated and through trial and error, created this gorgeous, food-based and uncompromised line of skin care.
